Our oceanfront home on Orcas Island is a beautiful Lindal cedar house, with a spa, in a very quiet, private community with a medium bank waterfront. Beach access, via a trail and steps, is one lot over at the community park.  Aurora House boasts beautiful  sunrises and views to the Cascade Mountains, Lummi Island and Cherry Point.  From the spacious deck or secluded hot tub, enjoy watching our two resident bald eagles, deer,  seals, occasional porpoises and sea otters.  End of the road tranquility, patio furniture and a gas barbeque invite you outdoors for an evening meal overlooking the Strait of Georgia.

The 3 bedroom, two bath home has tiled entries, oak floors, skylights, and a glass windowed wood stove.  The kitchen is fully equipped and has a jenn-air range with convection oven and grill, microwave and dishwasher.  The upper and lower ocean view bedrooms have queen beds, and the third bedroom has a double and twin bunk bed. A queen hide-a-bed is in the great room and  futon is in the media room.  There is a TV, DVD, VCR,  and CD player with a large selection of movies, CDs, books and games to keep you entertained. Free high speed Wi-Fi for your laptop.

We are located 4 miles from the village of Eastsound with a large modern supermarket, boutiques, galleries, and many wonderful restaurants.  In the village you can rent kayaks and bicycles or take a whale watching trip.  Moran State Park, 5000 acres of unspoiled nature, is nearby.  There are miles of rivers, trails, lakes and, from the top of Mount Constitution, breathtaking views  to Canada and the outer islands.  Located nearby you will find a golf course, bowling alley, movie theatre, playhouse, and library.

RATES:
High season (July & August): $1,990 per week, Minimum one week (Saturday to Saturday only)
Shoulder season (May, June, September & holidays): $1,690 per week or $390 per night, minimum 3   nights
Low season (October through April): $1,490 per week or $295 per night, minimum 3 nights.
Pets will be considered with extra deposit and $10/day per pet.

Maximum occupancy is 6 guests including children.
